Fishing
Puntzi Lake is well known for catching kokanee and rainbow trout. Puntzi Lake, at its deepest, is 145 ft. This year we have seen larger fish and an abundance! We carry various lures and bait in our tackle shop. Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort offers boats and motors for rent. There are new regulations throughout BC which dictates that all boat renters must have a boater's license. This can be done on line or through a course. Our boat launch and docks are there for your use. We have a screened fish house for cleaning your kokanee and rainbow trout and a freezer for your convenience.
We DO NOT sell Fishing Licenses. Please make sure you have one prior to getting here!
Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort on beautiful Puntzi Lake has the conveniences available to make your fishing trip a relaxing one.
NOTE: The FISHING DERBY at Puntzi Lake, 2011 is July 8,9 10.
