Boating
Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort has several motor boats which we rent out for fishing or sightseeing. New regulations throughout BC require that all people renting boats must have a boaters license. All boats come with lifejackets, paddles and fuel. We have canoes and a kayak also. There are several docks for moorage and a boat launch, all of which are free.
Puntzi Lake offers not only good fishing for kokanee and rainbow trout but also is a beautiful area to discover. The lake is 11 kms long and 5 kms wide. There is a long channel at one end of the lake. There is a small island across the water from the resort which is a protected area for pelicans.
